Computer Hardware Activity

This page MUST be turned in with your completed flyer.

1. Using the Internet, look up various computer systems from Best Buy and
Frys.
2. Find two different computer systems that you would not mind having for your
own personal use.
3. Using Publisher, copy a picture of each system.
4. List the System specification with the picture:
a. Monitor type
b. Screen size
c. RAM
d. Number of USB ports
e. Hard Drive capacity
f. Operating System
g. Any preloaded software
h. Price
5. Draw a big arrow to indicate which computer system you like best.
6. Write 2 reasons why you prefer one over the other.
7. Include your source(s).
8. Include your name.

Grading Rubric:
REQUIREMENT
Flyer clearly divided into two equal
sections
2 different pictures of computer systems
are displayed in separate sections (5
points each)
Full list of computer specifications are
listed in the section with the picture of
that system (15 points each)
Price of each system is listed in the
section of that system (5 points each)
Indication is made as to which system is
preferred by the student
2 valid reasons are given as to why the
student would prefer the indicated
computer system (12 points each)
