This course is designed for nonaccountancy students. An


integrated study of the law and
principles governing partnerships
and private corporations. The
pertinent provisions of the Civil
Code of the Philippines and the
Corporation Code of the
Philippines as well as those of
related statutes are correlated to
give the student a more
integrated grasp of the subject.

Course Objectives
1. Define and learn the basic principles of partnership as a form of business
organization and distinguish it from private corporations.
2. Recognize the different classification of Partnerships and the kinds of
partners as well as identify the Essential Features of Partnership.
3. Learn the general principles and the many advantages of corporations as
compared to any other form of business organization in the Philippines
4. Know the pertinent provisions of the Civil Code of the Philippines and the
Corporation Code of the Philippines pertinent to the study of the law on
partnerships and private corporations.
