HOW TO CONFIGURE REMOTE SAPLOGON FILE
SAP GUI Version 7.40
1) Download and save the SAPGUI installer. 2) Run the application. It will take some time to unpack before a prompt appears. Hit Next. 3) If you encounter a screen stating prerequisites were not fulfilled, hit next and continue to package selection screen. 4) If you have prerequisite errors, click Switch to a list of all available products to deselect conflicting packages. Otherwise, select the main package and hit Next. 5) The installation will run. When its finished, launch the SAP GUI application. 6) If your server list appears empty, you will need to set the location of the remote .ini file. To do so, click the pull-down in the upper left of the GUI, and select Options. 7) In the left pane of the Options menu, in the SAP Logon Options folder, select Server Configuration Files. 8) If you downloaded the lightweight version of the GUI, set the XML Configuration File on Server field to: http://worker.cob.csuchico.edu/hostsaplogon/SaplogonTree.xml If you downloaded the full installer, set the field to: http://worker.cob.csuchico.edu/hostsaplogon/SAPUILandscape.xml
