Bivariate Correlation Test

The document reports the results of parametric and non-parametric correlation tests between emotional intelligence, optimism score, and psychological well-being. The parametric Pearson correlation test found all variable pairs to be significantly linearly correlated. Emotional intelligence was highly linearly correlated with optimism score and psychological well-being. The non-parametric Spearman's rho correlation test also found all variable pairs to be correlated at p<0.01. Both tests show significant relationships between all the measured variables.

*. Correlation is significant at the 0.05 level (2-tailed).

CONCLUSION: EVERY PAIR OF VARIABLES IS SIGNIFICANTLY LINEARLY CORRELATED USING PEARSON

CORRELATION TEST.
EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE IS HIGHLY LINEARLY CORRELATED TO OPTIMISM SCORE AND PSYCHOLOGICAL
WELL BEING.
