Michael, who was adopted by the Andersons at age 9 after losing his parents, has struggled with suicidal thoughts for 15 years. Synopsis Borderline
Michael Thomson aged 24
James Anderson aged 20 Michael when he was aged 9 lost both his parents and was adopted by the Andersons. He grew up with James and was always put in his brothers shadow and was never felt accepted. 15 years on and Michael can no longer handle his suicidal thought, which developed rapidly after the passing of their James parents (Michaels Adopted parents). Michael is on a rooftop with a gun in his hand and is contemplating the decision of taking his life. To bring closure he sends James a voicemail, James confused about the situation attempts to find Michael. James believes hes figured it out and runs to the rooftop in attempt to stop him. James tries to control the situation and calm Michael down however Michaels brokenness causes bitterness towards everyone especially to James. On the rooftop James tries to talk Michael out of shooting himself, at this point Michael lets his true feelings out about James and how he was treated. James feels as if Michael is just saying this to allow him to take his life and tries to be compassionate. Michael then response and ends with the statement I never loved you in attempt to cut all ties with James. Michael then goes on to shoot himself while James is unable to do anything and becomes a passenger in the situation. Michael pulls the trigger while James is left traumatized and in a state of shock and is know left broken.
