When Is Sampling Inspection Preferred Over Cent Percent Inspection. ?

This document provides details of an internal test for a mechanical engineering course, including: - The test is divided into two parts, with Part A containing 6 short answer questions and Part B containing 2 long answer questions worth 7 marks each. - Questions cover topics like sampling inspection methods, differences between PERT and CPM, factors for capital budgeting, double sampling plans, C charts, linear programming solutions, break-even analysis and cost accounting calculations. - Part B includes examples on drawing a flowchart for a double sampling plan, plotting a C chart for thread defects in cloth, describing the optimal production solution from resource and profit data using linear programming, and explaining break-even analysis significance.
