CLASSIC STEAM IRON FY33A
Thank you for your letter 24 April 2014 in which you complained that the classic dream iron you
purchased on 23 April was leaking. Also, that it does not have the capacity you expected.
In order to find out the exact nature of the problem, our technician had to dismantle the iron. He
found that there is a hole in the base of the tank which lost its original shape size and capacity.
The cause of the problem is that hot water was poured into the plastic water tank. This caused
the tank to work, shrink and leak through the hole mentioned above.
I wish to draw your attention to the following:
- At the time of purchase a very clearly worded user's manual was delivered to you
- Filling of the water tank was demonstrated to your expressed satisfactory.
- During the demonstration the tank was filled to maximum capacity.

Nevertheless because of the good will that exists between our establishments, I shall replace your
iron with another iron of identical description at no cost to your firm.
I am taking the opportunity to inform you about the goods witch you have been enquiring arrived
yesterday and something should be completed this afternoon. We would therefore be pleased to
have you or your assistant buyer come in between 08: 30 and 11:00 to select the specific items in
which you are interested.
