Maximize the objective function f=x+4y subject to the constraints that x and y must be greater than or equal to 0, 8x + 5y must be less than or equal to 40, and 4x + 3y must be greater than or equal to 12. The function values f are calculated at the different constraint boundaries and lines are drawn between these values, known as isoprofit lines, to visualize the optimal solution region.
