The Portable TROLL Reference Manual describes the
organization and commands of the Portable TROLL
software system for econometric modelling. The
principal author was Peter Hollinger, with sections
written by Leonid Spivakovsky. Sandra Gerrie, Robin
DeCarli, Jim Wilner and Christina Lynch provided
editorial assistance. Additional reference material is
provided in the Portable TROLL Functions manual
and the Portable TROLL Programming Language
manual.
Portions of the manual were based on the TROLL
Reference Manual, Third Edition, Massachusetts
Institute of Technology, 1983.
Portable TROLL is a product of Intex Solutions, Inc.
It is based on Mainframe TROLL, which was
developed at the Massachusetts Institute of
Technology and Intex Solutions. Development of
Portable TROLL was supported in part by the Bank
of Canada, the Bank of Norway, the Commission of
the European Community, the Federal Reserve Board
of Governors, and the International Monetary Fund.
