1. The teacher and students will read the objectives for the day together.
2. Students will practice doing research using Google. The students will be guided
by a worksheet that the teacher has created (critical thinking).
3. If the students complete the research, they are free to choose an educational site
of their own.

2. The students will be shown how to sign up for their gmail accounts.
3. The teacher will show explain to the students what Google Drive is and how to
use it. The teacher will then introduce Google Docs, Slides, email, and Google
Classroom.
4. Students will be shown how to get to Google Classroom. (this lesson will be
continued into next week)

2. The students will be reminded how to get to Google Classroom. They will
proceed to Google Classroom where they will be introduced to their research
project. The students will be following a simple rubric and creating a slides
presentation with their information.
3. The students will be shown how to copy and paste information/pictures.
4. The teacher will explain to the students what source citation means and why it is
important. Because the students are only in the third grade, they will only be asked
to record the website name where they got the information.
5. Students will proceed to Google Docs where they will show that they know how
to copy and paste from the internet to a document.
