To resolve Java errors when using TeamSite: 1. Uninstall old Java versions from the Control Panel and download the latest version from the Java website to ensure the correct Java version is installed. 2. Access the Java Control Panel through the Control Panel, go to the Security tab, and add the TeamSite URL to the Exception Site List to allow security permissions. 3. When a security warning appears on the TeamSite site, check the box to accept the risk and run the application to proceed with the import.

Workarounds for Java errors in TeamSite

CORRECT VERSION OF JAVA (An error message saying that Java is not
available or cannot run)
Make sure that you have the most recent version of Java on your computer. To do
this, go to Control Panel and uninstall all instances of Java that you see there.
Then, go to http://www.java.com and click the big red Free Java Download button.
Follow the prompts to install the latest version of Java on your computer.

SECURITY ERROR (An error message related to security permissions)


From your computers Start Menu, go to Control Panel
Search for Java
Double-click Java to open the Java Control Panel
Click the Security tab
Click the Edit Site List button

Enter http://teamsite.partners.org and click the Add button

Click the Continue button

Click OK
Click OK
Go to http://teamsite.partners.org
Navigate to the folder where you wish to import files and click the Import button

Check I accept the risk and want to run this application and click Run
