CHECKLIST FOR EMERGENCY INCHARGE:
SN O 1
EMERGENCY INCHARGE DUTIES
Keep the Wheel chairs and Stretchers in
front of the Emergency unit.
Check for the function of all biomedical
equipments, Electrical equipments.
Ensure CSSD items are send to the CSSD
on time and all items includes pad bin, gauze bins are collected kept ready for Trauma patients.
All unclean dressing trays are to be washed
and sent to the CSSD department.
Put Assignment for the Staff Nurses and
ensure the Staff Nurses sign the registers and inform her of any missing items after checking Instruct the Staff Nurses to send the empty pad bins and used dressing articles to CSSD.
General cleanliness of the Emergency ward
including OG procedure room, Treatment room, Toilets, Changing room.
Ensure ward attenders maintain the
Movement Register.
Get replacement of pharmacy items from
patient attenders before shifting patients to the respective wards or AMA discharge or patient bill clearance after patient death.
IV line tray Vital Signs Tray Medication Tray Dressing Tray Arterial line insertion tray Transcutaneous Pacing Tray Blood Culture Tray Delivery trays Post-partum tray are neatly arranged and when used for patients , replaced the items immediately in all trays. 11
