Turn a happy ending of a familiar fairytale into a sad ending.
Create an animal character and write in its perspective Write a story using the following words. Describe an action scene without using adverbs. Write a poem about a color without naming that color. Describe an object without naming the object. What color is it? What did it feel or look like? What does it remind you of? 7. Choose a song and write a story that goes along with that song. 8. Choose an art piece and write a story to go along with it. (Think about emotions, moods, experiences, places). 9. Choose a photo. Describe whats happening in the picture without using adjectives. 10. Write using five adjectives. 11. Write starting with this phrase: This is not what it looks like. 12. Imagine yourself as an animal. What kind of animal would you be? Write in perspective of that animal. 13. Write a poem about the following topic. 14. Create a numerical advice using a numbered list and the last word in a sentence rhyming with the number. 15. If you were to travel through time, which place would you like to visit most? Describe that visit. 16. Write about the worst injury that youve had in your life. Use live action verbs and descriptions to write about what happened without naming the injury. (For example, dont just say, I fell off my bike and scraped my knee.) 17. Write a poem about a number, using rhymes. 18. Describe the weirdest dream youve had. It can be as crazy as you like. Try to remember the things that happened in your dream. 19. Write about an animal using the following metaphor. 20. Show, Dont Tell: Use live description and action verbs to make the following sentence more exciting. (Example: She was crying.) 21. Make an alphabetical advice on what NOT to do. 22. Choose a familiar fairytale and write a story of it your own twist.
