THE COLD ONE

SCENE 1
EXT. School gate Evening
Protagonist, ANNA (15), is making her way towards
the school gate. She is waiting for her mother to
pick her up. She has light brown skin and is slim
and of average height. She is wearing a white
blouse with the Oaks Park High green and yellow
striped tie, a black knee length pleated skirt,
and her green Oaks Park school blazer.
ANNAs phone rings, which she retrieves from her
blazer pocket. The caller ID reads MUM. ANNA
answers the phone.
ANNA
Im waiting outside, mum.
ANNA looks around the area, and then proceeds to
walk down the road.
FOOTSTEPS
ANNA turns around, startled, and stares at the
space around her. After deciding that there was
no one around her, she continues to walk down the
road.
A mysterious figure follows slowly behind ANNA,
his face hidden by a hoodie, that he wears with
jeans, worn down trainers, and gloves. He is tall
and broad-shouldered in comparison to ANNA.
ANNA turns around to finally see the mysterious
figure, and begins to run. The figure also starts
to chase after her, only a few paces behind. ANNA
looks around as she runs, finding the opening of
a forest.
She stops behind a large tree, panting with
relief as she catches her breath.

The mysterious figure has caught up and notices


something moving behind the large, so he slowly
moves towards it, careful not to make a sound.
He quickly runs up
