Canthatene 10% Feed is a fine powder containing 10%


Canthaxanthin (E160g) with a reddish color. The canthaxanthin
crystals are emulsified in a matrix of modified starch, sugar and
vegetable oil. DL-alpha-tocopherol Ascorbyl Palmitate are added
as antioxidants.

Canthatene 10% Feed disperses in water.

Storage and Stability:

Canthatene 10% Feed is sensitive to light, heat and air. The shelf
life of the product is 24 months from the date of production, when
stored in the unopened original packaging at a temperature below
15C. The effective data is stated on the label. Contents should be used
shortly after opening. The actual stability of canthaxanthin products
when added to feeds varies upon the composition of the feed, and
humidity and temperature conditions at the time the feed is being
produced and used. Feeds containing canthaxanthin should be used
as soon as possible after mixing to ensure maximum supplementation
value.

Use:

As a feed additive to intensify the pigmentation of egg yolks, broiler


skin, fish and crustaceans (where permitted by national legislation).
