Reflection 2:
The teacher is the manager of the classroom, so if she loses her
control, the class will be messy. The teacher that I was observing was serious though she was also laughing with her students most of the times, which was amazing to me because I think that it builds great relationships between teachers and their students. Ive noticed that the teacher tries as much as she can to make her students feel good about themselves. For example when a student takes a long time to answer a question; the teacher gives her time to think and waits for her until she answers even if its wrong. It is a great technique of making the student understand that she can do it. Overall no ones perfect, there might be some negative ways of dealing with management issues. So in my opinion, the teacher that Ive observed has both negative and positive ways of managing the classroom because sometimes she shouts and uses punishments as a way of managing the classroom. But these ways are not ways of management to me because there are many other effective ways of managing the classroom.
