This document reflects on a lesson taught to 24 5-year-old students about the number 2. Reflection (number 2 lesson):

During my TP I teach student in Kg/2 there are 24 students, all of them are 5 years
old. I touch them math about number 2. Firstly, I start with greeting them by good
morning song, a day of the week song after that chose helper hand to count student and
change the day. Secondly, warm up by making simple story about 2 cars they befriend
and show them a video about the number 2. Thirdly, give them activities such as stick
picture that present number 2 in the board, next activity was drawing face part that
present number 2 (eyes, ears) in an empty face and write number 2. fourthly, they do
differentiation worksheet (low level: trace number 2 and color 2 flower) that help
student know how to write and identify the number, (Medium level: circle the small
number 2 only) that help them to focus and differentiate between figures and (High
level: student match the group that present two thing with number 2) so they count the
items in each group them matched with number 2 if it is present it. Finally, student
counts the items in the card them chose the right answer by pointed with pen clothes.
If I taught the lesson again I will do same activity (empty face) they draw 2 things we
have in our face (2 eyes,2 ears ), because student like to do such as drawing, activity
linked with real life and with theme in this week (face part)and this will help student to
understand and recognize the lesson. I will do activity stick the picture which represents
number two in the board, if not they put it in the floor so the student is able to
distinguish between number 2 and others number. In addition, activity (choose a right
number) by giving them cards that include pictures so the student counts it then uses
cloth pen to point the right answer that represent the picture. If I taught this lesson
again I will change some activity or improve it. The first thing I will change the warm up
(story) because it does not relate with the theme and I must be linked with it. Make it
more interest to attract the student and be of value and goal to deliver information to
students. Second activity I will be clanged in next time are differentiation because I did
all of them worksheet but student need to work, create, develop fine motor skills,
imagination, social skills by giving them activity have movement such as stick, Paste,
order, cut, and put so the student learn by doing that what Piaget theory believe it .The
third activity they write number 2 in the empty board after I teach them steps how to
write it. So I improved by put line in the board and give a chance for the student to trace
number twice then they write by own.
I achieved my learning outcomes for this lesson. Students identify number 2 and they
know meaning for it. First I do the concert for them (show them pictures and point the
face part) that represent two things, and then they abstract it by giving me the answer

directly. They write number two in a right way and I relate my lesson and activity with
the theme (face part).
I surprised the student were active and participate with me when I did the story and
review it after I finished, so I note in my mind the activity they liked more to do it in next
time. On the other hand one things that I disappointed was the transition from circle
area to small groups, I make them in lines, when I said for them lets go to your group all
student run and change their groups and make noise so next lesson I find another way
for transition be more effectual.
In my opinion the lesson was good ,the activity are interest, student were enjoy and
happy with it , even though there are some mistakes, but in general it was good
because it was first time or chance to teach them. It was a successful lesson the student
enjoyed, the activity that include pen cloth to point the right answer they liked more.
The lesson plan helps me to organize the activity and time.

In the end, it was a nice opportunity for me to learn the strengths and weaknesses point
in my lesson to fixed and improve it in next time.

Reflection (number 3 lesson)


This is the second lesson in math subject I taught for the student in KG2/2 which are 24
students. I start with change student place depends on the level of the student in circle
area and each group I gave them color (low=green, medium=blue and high=red). As
usual I start with routine (morning song, day of the week song and helper hand). Then
warm up the lesson by show them video about numbers from 1 to 20 and student act
with it. Next, I tell them a (story about Ahmad family) in PowerPoint and at the end of
the story the student memorize the event and characters by answer question. Then
student Jump and clap hand 3 times and write number three in the air, in the carpet and
write it in a card. In addition, the student does the differentiation activities and clap
hand game I show them numbers from 1 to 10 so each time student sees the number 3
they should club their hand.
The activity that I will use it and do it in next time when I teach is the video because
includes many movements to develop their fine and gross motor skills. I should use it to
make student active and take the idea about the lesson. The story has the most
effective way for students because they like to listen to the story and link it with the
lesson. So I gave them a chance to think and guess the event, whoever in the end I make
a review for the story and student participates in answering. In this lesson, the
differentiation for low, medium and high was more interest. Low level, the student put
cotton in three circles for (father, mother, boy) t-shirt. Medium level, student organize
the puzzle to discover the picture (3 family members).High level, Student draw them
(mother, father, themselves) in small pieces and stake it in wood then stick it on the
home to create their sweet family as piagets theory said student learn by doing. An
activity that I think I should change it and improve it if I do same the lesson is I make
puzzle activity for the medium level they only organize it to discover the hidden picture,
others level create things by using the different object. So I think is not fair, all of
student should have the same type of activity but in a different way.

I achieved my outcomes for this lesson student Identify number 3 and recognize
it. Students were able to understand the number 3. First they (concrete) by count the
items on the story after that they abstract it by memorizing it without a need to count it
is automatically coming. They write number 3 in a right way, they follow the steps and
all activities relate with the theme (family).I surprised the students were quite, dont
make noise, they focus and be attention with the lesson. So may the activity or the
lesson was attracted them or the way that I give them the lesson. In my opinion I think
the lesson work well, the activities were interest and student enjoyed, the song make
student active and the story has an important role to take information and linked with

the theme. Overall the lesson was more interest than the last lesson. The lesson was
successful, I achieved all the outcomes. I feel happy for the result I get it and the student
learns the lesson in a different way such as story, song, and activity to make sure they
understand and to install the information and I make last activity they clap their hand if
they see number 3. Also in my lesson I focus with low level student I give them chance
to answer and motivate them to participate with lesson so that what Krashen's theory
believe when you give student motivate he will feel confident and that will help them to
learn more.
Each lesson I teach the student I learn from my mistake and improve it in next time and
chose the right activities that have a goal to do it and will interest the student.

Reflection for lesson (letter m)


In 13 of Oct 2015, Tuesday I taught the student lesson about letter M. So first I was start
with routine (hello song, day of the week song then helper hand). For this lesson I start
my lesson by show them abc sound song to be active with me and do some movement
to be fresh to start the lesson. Then I start with guessing game by describe them the
words that start with M such as (monkey, milk, mouth, moon, mushroom and mango)
this activity give the student chance to memorize and thinking so that develop cognitive
skills. After that I make review for them how to write letter m because they already take
it by write it in the air and in the carpet. Then move to do the differentiation activity for
3 different levels. Students hows in low level they color letter M by using paint and
brush. Students hows in medium level they color the ballone that incled the letter m
only,that help the student to recognice bettween the letters. Students hows in high
level they make litter M by using small pies of colorful papers it is collage technique.
Finally last activity we did is game, we make two line green and blue, I stick the pictures
in board for (monkey, milk, mouth, moon, mushroom and mango) so they should point
the picture that I went, student who pointed first they take one point for their groups.
The lesson was good student enjoy with all activities because all activity have different
way and different work to do and include many skills such as fine and gross motor
,cognitive and social. If I do this lesson again will use same activity but maybe I change
activity for differentiation, I make it more interest for them. My weakness was how to
manage students while they transition from circle area to do the differentiation
activities in small group. Generally the lesson was fine, me and student enjoyed because
include many type of activity epically last activity that make student challenge between
two group green and blue. Finally each lesson I taught, I learn more about which kind of
activity that I should chose it in my lesson in next time, activity that include learning and
playing together is attract student and help them learning by playing that what Piagets
theory believe. In addition I achieve my learning out comes for this lesson, student
identify letter M , classify realization differentiate between the name and sound of the
letter, use word that start with M and review writing the letter.

Reflection for lesson (letter P)

In this day I taught the student letter P. Firstly, I started with routine by (Hello song,
attendees, helper hand). Secondly, I put for them abc song sound and student act with
each sound of the letter for example (cookie cookie c c c so the student acting they eat
cookie). After that start with penguin story (penguin is hungry and he went to eat food
that start with letter P) I showed them pictures of food (pain apple, popcorn, pear,
pizza) and repeated the name of the food. Then I gave each of them card that include
different type of food that start with letter P. the penguin whisper me what he want to
eat for example he went to eat popcorn so the student how have popcorn cards they
have to standup, jump, make line to feed the penguin while the say the name of the
food and the sound of the letter. Then we moved to guessing game by describe them
the word like (something we wear it before we sleep or we wear it at the night=pajama)
(something we eat it in cinema while we watching the movie=popcorn). Then start to
explain for them how to write letter p by show them the steps and do it 2 times in front
of them. Then they start to write the letter P after I gave them the small white board
and marker. Finally, it was differentiation activity, I make for them 3 different type of
activity for 3 different level of student. For low level the student trice the letter P, then
classify the letter P by color the circle that include letter P. For medium level, do the
puzzle activity, it look like letter P that include pictures start with P. last activity for high
level. Students classify the picture that starts with letter P by make circle in it and draw
line from popcorn to litter P so the student identify letter P. In addition I make for
student activity but I dont have enough time to present it ,it is like envelope that
include 4 pictures in 1 card with pen clothes and each time I tell them to show me the
specific pitcher that I tell them.
Activity that work well and I use again in next lesson or if I do the same lesson is penguin
story, because that make student interest and use different way to begin the lesson. The
conversation between me and penguin about what he like to eat I think is good idea
because that make student focus with me to listen what he want ,to start to standup
,jump and make line to feed the penguin. However the guessing came in create idea to
make the student think and that develop the cognitive skills. Give all student chance to
participate with the lesson even they are in high, medium or low levels .
Activity that i will improve it or change it if I taught this lesson again is writing activity. I
think I should give the student to trace the one or two time then they write it by their

own to give chance for student write in right way and right steps. For differentiation
activities is good way to give the student activity that student be creative and develop
the fine motor skills, like (graft) or make something far from repetitive activities. In next
time I should change the activity for low level student because I put special need
student in this level so it is difficult for them to hold the pencil and trace the letter.
Dont depend with internet or make sure it is work before the lesson start or make
extra activity for special times.
I achieved my learning outcomes, student identify letter P, they recognize between the
name and sound of the letter, write the letter and use word that start with letter P.
Student like the story and participate with me because include many movement like
jumping so that develop gross motor skills. Also in guessing activity they participate with
me, each of them give me the answer by raise their hand. So I can use this type of
activity next time after I saw positive result from the student. In general the lesson was
good and student feel happy about the activity. Recording to the skinner theory he
believes that student learn more with each other and exchange idea that develop social
emotional skills.

Reflection (letter A)
Last week in my Tp I gave student lesson about letter A, I try to make the lesson interest
for them. As routine I start with morning song (Hello song) , (day of the week ) then
chose helper hand , ask the student what helper hand do and change the day. I begin
the lesson by put for them abc song sound in this time student learn some letters and
the acting that present the letter. Then I show them simple story that include characters
begin with letter a in power point such as ( ant, alligator, airplane, apple) .after that
make quake review for the word that start with A. Ask student to give word start with
letter a. Then use clay to write letter first t did it in front of them after that they do it by
their own and I walk around and observe them If someone need help. We were moved
to differentiation activity. Low level student paint the letter a by using brush and red
color. Medium level they make apple by collage activity by using small pic of color
papers so they make like apple shape while high level student use small pic of strings to
make letter (A and a).

I achieved my learning outcomes, student were able to identify and recognize letter
with other letters, learn the name and sound of the letter, learn some word that start
with a letter and able to write the letter. The lesson was good epically the
differentiation activity because this times all the activities was art technique. Using
paint, strings, small pic of papers so all of that develop fine motor skills, strong the
student imagination and help the student to be creative by give them chance to work
individual and choose color and way to do the activity. However the story work well
student interest, during the story student repeated the work so that help them to learn
how to pronation for the word. That mean each lesson teacher should use new activity
for student to feel interest and love the lesson.
