Establishingshotofthehouse,followedbythetracking
ofthecamerawalkingintothehousetakingatour(POV)
untilthecamerareachesthediningroomareawhereJANE
issittingbyherself.
Janeisablonde,5820yearoldgirl.Sheiswearing
casualclothes.Forexample,shecouldwearjeansanda
tshirt.
SheacknowledgesthemainprotagonistIANashesitsdown
oppositeherandtheystarttalkingabouttheirdayand
theirschoollifeasthecameraswitchesfromshot
reverseshottotwoshotsduringtheconversation.
Thelightingusedinthediningroomisthekeylighting
andthenaturallights.
Astheconversationbetweenthetwoends,thecamerapans
andfadeintothenextscene,whereIanisgettinginto
bed.
Thereisacutawayoftheclocktoshowthetime,asIan
startstofallasleep.Itfadesinandoutasifheis
tryingnottofallasleep.Andjustasthepicturefades
outcompletely,glasssmashesandhewakesup.
Thereisashotofhimsittingupinbed,asheshouts
Janesnameandthenheturnsthebedsidelighton.There
isnosound,sohetriestogobacktosleepbutthereis
anotherglasssmash,shehegetsupoutofbedandruns
tothedoorwherethereisamatchonactionandapan.
WhenhereachesJanesroom,heturnsthelightonandwe
getacloseupofthat.Andwegetacloseupofher
sleepingasshepullsthecoversbackoverherbody.We
getacloseupofIansconfusedfacefollowedbya
selectivefocusofBONNIEtheantagonistbehindIanas

wakesupagain.
Hesitsupagain,evenmoreworried,asthecameragetsa
midshotofIangettingoutofbed.Thereisacloseup
ofhimpickingupthecricketbatashelooksunderthe
doortoseeatorchshining.TheendisIanshouting
Janesnameasitechoesontothetitles.
