    Nutanix Platform Professional (NPP) Exam

    Nutanix Administration on NOS 4.0 (NPP4)


    I. Exam Overview
    The Nutanix Platform Professional (NPP) Exam is an online exam for evaluating IT
    professionals working with the Nutanix Virtual Computing Platform.

    II. Audience
    Nutanix professionals who install, configure, monitor, manage, and troubleshoot the
    Nutanix Cluster.

    III. Exam Preparation


    Attending the Nutanix Administration Course (4.x) is recommended, but not required,
    prior to attempting this exam. Students have three options for this training:
    1. NPP Update Training: IT professionals who hold an NPP3 certification and
    have recent experience administering a Nutanix cluster should take NPP Update
    training available in the New Courses section of this portal.
    2. Nutanix Administration Course: Self-Paced Online: IT professionals with
    limited experience with Nutanix, or who need a more complete refresher of their
    skills should take the self-paced online administration course available in the New
    Courses section of this portal.
    3. Nutanix Administration Course: Instructor-led Training: IT professionals
    who are unfamiliar with Nutanix, or prefer to ask questions from an experienced
    IT trainer during a 2-day, live course, should register for an instructor-led training
    class, offered by Nutanix training centers around the globe. See

    IV. Exam Details

    The exam consists of 50 multiple choice and true/false questions.


    You will be allowed up to two hours to complete the exam.
    A minimum of 80% is required to pass the exam.
    You are allowed three (3) attempts at passing the exam. If you do not successfully
    complete the exam after three attempts, you will need to contact the Nutanix
    Education team ([email protected]) to discuss test alternatives.
