Project Stages (based on ASAP methodology)

Preparation

It assists to
create the initial
project structure
and to define
and agree all
different
components of
the project
scope

objectives and
requirements,
within the
agreed scope,
cost and
timeline.

and conducts
the conceptual
design of the
solution.

3.Realisation &
Testing

Build the system


as defined in the
Business Design
Phase
Test the system
rigorously to
ensure it is
working
Ensure the
training material
is ready for the
next phase

4.Final Prep

To complete the
final preparation
of the system
and the
organisation,
ensuring:
the end users
are ready to use
the new system
the IT
environment is
ready to go-live
with the new
system
the organisation
is ready for the
new system

5.Go-Live

Ensure the golive seamlessly,


without any loss
of business or
data, with little
impact to the
organisation
Support the
business in the
initial period of
using the new
system.
