NMR would most readily differentiate between the pairs of compounds (a) C4H10O and C3H7Br, (c) C4H8O and C15H14O, and (g) C8H9Br and C8H10. IR would be most useful to differentiate (e) C7H8O from other compounds due to its broad absorption peak between 3200-3550 cm-1. UV spectroscopy could differentiate (d) C15H14O from other aromatic compounds based on its absorption spectrum in the UV range.
