Dear Grade 8 parents/guardians,

Hello, my name is Stephanie Gordon and I would like to formally


introduce myself. I am a new intern teacher here at Ecole Manachaban
Middle School from the University of Lethbridge. I will be teaching with
Catherine Maetche from the beginning of the year up until Christmas
break (approx. 4 months). I am extremely excited to be here and look
forward to working with the Grade 8 Band. I have a lot of things
planned and new music for us to learn!
I am originally from Cochrane, but have been living in Lethbridge
completing my education for the past 5 years. I have completed my
Bachelor of Music degree and am now in the final year of my Bachelor
of Education. For those of you who do not know an internship requires
us to teach 50% of our teacher mentors classes. I am paired with Mrs.
C. Maetche who will still be present in all my classes, although I will be
the head teacher. I will be teaching Grade 8 Band, Grade 7 Band, Jazz
Band, and Grade 5 General Music.
I have been overly welcomed here at EMMS and look forward to what
the year has to bring! I want to thank you for taking the time to read
