READMISSION ELIGIBILITY: A student is in good academic standing and is eligible to return academically unless otherwise indicated on the transcript.
Information on non-academic suspensions is not recorded on the transcript, but may be obtained from the Office of Student Affairs with written consent of
the student involved.

DEANS LIST AND PRESIDENTS LIST: The Deans List gives recognition to undergraduate students who have been enrolled for twelve semester hours or
more and have made for the semester a grade-point average of at least 3.25 with no grade lower than a C. The Presidents List gives recognition to
undergraduate students who have made for the semester a grade-point average of 3.80 or higher on at least twelve semester hours credit and with no
grade lower than a C.

VII. GRADUATION HONORS: Special recognition is given to baccalaureate degree recipients who have a grade-point average of 3.50 or better. These students are
graduated with honors, according to the following scale:
Summa cum laude - 3.90 or higher
Magna cum laude - 3.75 to 3.89
Cum laude - 3.50 to 3.74
VIII. ACCREDITATION: The University of West Alabama is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
