Verb To Be

The document presents 4 tables that illustrate the use of the verb "to be" (be, am, is, are) in English for positive, negative, and question forms. Table 1 shows the positive form with subjects and contractions. Table 2 shows the negative form. Table 3 shows question forms. Table 4 shows short yes/no answers. The document also provides notes reminding that the subject is always required in English sentences and that the verb "to be" is only used to express actions of being or state of being, not other actions.

Observaciones:

She is pretty (Correcto)

No se enamoren del verbo to be. Solo quiere decir ser o estar. Algunos
Ejemplo
Juega futbol.
He is play futbol (ERROR) > el sujeto no hace 2 acciones a la vez.
He plays football (CORRECTO)
Es decir, el sujeto puede hacer distintas acciones y el verbo to be solo es para
expresar acciones de ser o estar. En otras lecciones aprenderemos como hacer
oraciones con otros verbos
