Explain and Justify Need
Hi my name is Anyeli I am a student from the Instituto Anglo Britnico. I am
learning how to use raptor in our Design class. Raptor is a flowchart based
programming environment, designed specifically to help students visualize their
algorithms and avoid syntactic baggage. Raptor programs are created visually and
executed; visually by tracing the execution through the flowchart. We are learning how
to use. I didnt know about the program Raptor, I never hear about it, now, I will have an
idea.
Raptor is a program that help basically to do
programs, that is the definition, how to use it. The
problem here is that students think that the program is not
useful in our daily lives and have troubles with the
teacher because she teaches us that. My opinion in this
trouble is, how did we know that this will not help to our
future? No one knows that.
Anyway, students dont want to work with
programs anymore. They and I prefer something more
easily, like power-point presentations, word works, etc.
The problem in this moment is that all the years we work in word or power point, even
Excel. That is a problem because we got used, focus only in that works, but now this is
new for us, this is why we think that this is buring, that we will never gonna use, etc.
I have the time to make a survey, about how many students hate or love or like
Raptor, and if they learn how to use it.
