Create clouds/fog/smoke by: 1) Making a new layer and choosing foreground/background colors, typically with one light and one dark 2) Applying the Clouds filter under Rendering 3) Adjusting the layer style blending options by dragging the triangle to make one color disappear 4) Optionally blurring the layer and selecting parts to apply the effect

Create clouds/fog/smoke

1) Create a new layer


2) Change your foreground and background color to whatever you want
Perhaps you want default black and white or change it to misty green, regardless
it must be same color scheme one light the other dark

Double
click

New Layer

3. Go to Filter>Render>Clouds
4. Go down to layer style FX and click on blending options

5. Press alt and left click drag half of the triangle to make the darker color
disappear

6. On the layer blends, you can change to one of the blending styles, and
you can also go to Filter>Blur> Gaussian Blur
7. Using a rectangle selection tool you can also apply this effect only to a
certain part
