Good day maam / sir.

I am <<your full name>> from

<<institution>> and today, Im going
to teach you on how to operate a
projector using a laptop. But first,
let us be familiarized with the parts
of LCD or Liquefied Crystal Display
projector.

First is the VGA or video graphics

array, will serve as the connector
for the projector and the laptop.
Second, is the power cable, this will
connect the projector to the power
source or outlet. Now lets proceed
with the control buttons located at
the top most part of the projector.

The first button is the power button, to

startup and shutdown the projector.
Next is the source search button. Third
one is menu button, to show the OSD or
on-screen display. Fourth will be the
navigation buttons, for settings and
options. Fifth is enter button. Sixth is
the esc button.

Lets proceed to the front part of the

projector. First we have the projector
lens, which projects the images from
the laptop. In the projector lens we
have the adjustable ring, rotating this
ring will focus the projected image to
the screen, and then, we have the lens
cover that serves as lens protector.

Secondly, the elevator foot, you can

adjust the height or level of
projection using the elevator
button. Third is the infrared
receiver, receives infrared signal
from the projector remote control.

Lets proceed to the side part of the

LCD projector which we can see the
ventilation part, to reduce the heat
coming from the lamp.

Lets proceed with the last part which is

the rear part of the projector. We have
the connection ports consist of s-video
the black one and video port the yellow
one, audio ports are the red and the
white color, VGA input in blue color and
VGA out in black for the extended
monitor or projection.

Now lets connect the VGA cable to

the projector and laptop. Same
with the power cable.
Now the projector is ready for
turning on. Press the power button
to switch it on and wait for the
display to be projected.

DISCUSSION PROPER

Immediately after using the

projector we now proceed to the
disconnection proper of the
projector.

First, close all the running

applications on your laptop.
Secondly, press the power button of
the projector twice, then wait for
few seconds for the lamp to be
stable to assure that the projector
is safely shutdown.

After it, we are ready for

disconnecting all the cables.
Disconnect first the VGA cable from
the projector and laptop, then the
power cable from the outlet or
power source and projector.

Thank you for watching. Have a

good day.
