Area & Perimeter of Rectangle


This class will be as a review for the next week assessment.

Activities in class:

Explain the perimeter and area formula


Give some example to find perimeter and area on the board
Worksheet on their notebook to find both area and perimeter & find width or
length

Reflection:

This class was just a review for the next week assessment. Where students already
know how to find the perimeter and area of the rectangle. So, I focus more on
units of the perimeter and area of the rectangle.

Find the area of each rectangle

Length = 22 cm

width = 8 cm

width = 15 cm

length = 70 cm

Find the perimeter of each rectangle


Area = 30

length = 10

length = 16

width = 20

Area = 437

width = 19

Find the width / length


Perimeter = 84

length = 12
