Auckland CBD for Whakapara at 10.30am

3.30pm Hau kinga krero / Whakapara Marae elders followed by Introductions

6.00pm Kai o te p / evening meal followed by river swim and setting up of
beds in the wharehui / meeting house
8.00pm

Karakia (prayer / incantations) Hau kinga introductions

8.30pm Movie nite Ever the Land Thoe Centre Documentary followed by
discussion from those involved

discussion)

Kai o te rnui / Lunch

2.00pm Depart in vans / cars for Tau Rangatira Waitangi (toilet stop at
Kawakawa)
3.00pm Arrive at Tau Rangatira Waitangi the birth place of the nation where
we will be met by elders of Ngti Rahiri / Ngti Kawa to discuss Te Tiriti
/ The Treaty of Waitangi and its significance to Ngpuhi and Aotearoa.
