Week 12 - 11 2 15 Unit 3 Week 3

Mrs. Hughes provides information for the week of November 2nd through 6th. There will be College Week from November 8th-13th and the Kindergarten Christmas Program is scheduled for December 17th. The specials schedule and homework assignments are outlined. Show and tell will focus on items beginning with the /k/ sound. Veterans Day will be celebrated on November 11th by wearing red, white, and blue. Reading lessons will cover characters, settings, events and include stories about walks and neighborhoods. Math topics include shapes, sequencing, patterns, and probability. Writing will focus on writing ideas and proper pencil grip. Science will discuss matter as solid, liquid or gas and social studies will cover voting and the President.

Amazing Hats: The kids really enjoyed sharing their Amazing Hat with each other. Thank you for all of your help to make

this happen.
Thank you: We also had an exciting fall party. Thank you to all of the parents who volunteered, helped plan, or donated

items. The kids and I truly appreciate it.


Honor Our Veterans Forms: Forms will be coming home on Monday. Please return by Friday, November 6th, to give us

time to display them for Veterans Day.


Veterans Day: On Wednesday, November 11th, lets show our Veterans we care by wearing Red, White, and Blue or

Camouflage.
