The key takeaways are that feminism advocates for political, social, and economic equality between women and men. It is often misunderstood as being anti-men or unnecessary in modern society, but there are still many gender inequalities that feminism aims to address.

Some examples given of why we still need feminism are the gender pay gap, victim blaming around sexual assault prevention, lack of representation of women in positions of power like the US Senate, enforcement of gender roles and expectations from a young age, and toxic masculinity.

Rhetorical devices like repetition, parallel structure, and isocolon are used to emphasize points and keep the writing flowing. Logos, ethos, and pathos are also employed to appeal to logic, credibility, and emotion.

Why Do We Still Feminism?

What is feminism? That's the first question that needs to be

answered whenever people talk about equal rights. Feminism is
defined as the advocacy of women's rights on the grounds of
political,
social,
and
economic
equality
to
men.
The majority of the people nowadays tend to imagine that a
woman is a man-hating, a bra-burning, and a whiny liberal
whenever they hear the word "Feminism." Even among more
moderate crowds, feminism is still seen as too radical, too
uncomfortable, or simply unnecessary. However, it is both
misunderstood and denigrated regularly on a broad societal scale,
and there are hundreds of reasons why humans need to make
conscious about this issue, and actually consider to radically
change their minds toward how a man and a woman are seen.
Because being a feminist has nothing to do with how you look,
what you wear, who you date, or how often you have sex. Being a
feminist doesn't mean you think women deserve special rights; it
means we deserve equal ones. And while a primary purpose of
feminism is to empower women, it does not mean feminists view
all women as weak and oppressed. In fact, they are not aiming to
make women stronger; they already know they're strong. They
just want society to see that too. In addition, empowering women
does not mean belittling or punishing men. Men also suffer from
gender role assumptions that place expectations upon them to
live and act a certain way, and thats only one reason why we
need feminism.
We need feminism because to men, a key is a device to open
something. For women, it's a weapon we hold between our fingers
when we're walking alone at night.
We need feminism because we teach women how to prevent
rape, instead of teaching people to not view women as objects.

We need feminism because overall, women still earn less money

than men with the same education level.
We need feminism because it's assumed that if you are nice o a
girl, she owes you sex, therefore, if she turns you down, she's a
bitch who's put you in the "friend zone."
We need feminism because we now have a record number of
women in the US senate... Which is 20 out of 100.
We need feminism because sexism is something that we see very
often, and the majority of the time society values someone of how
they dress. And if a woman decides to put a mini skirt on she is
defined as too "provocative."
We need feminism because guys are expected to buy flowers, pay
dates, and treat girls like "princesses" all the time.
We need feminism because since girls and boys are born, parents
raise them always classifying between "girl things" and "boy
things," as toys, manners and even clothes.
We need feminism because guys should not feel insulted when
called a "girl." Or when a girl is called a "lesbian."
We need feminism because the toxic masculinity is a product of
the same system that makes women submissive to men.
The problem with gender is that it prescribes how we should be
rather than recognizing how we are. Imagine how much happier
we would be, how much freer to be our individual selves, if we
didnt have the weight of gender expectations. And as Dale
Spencer once said: Feminism has fought no wars. It has killed no
opponents. It has set up no concentration camps, starved no
enemies, practiced no cruelties. Its battles have been for
education, for the vote, for better working conditions, for safety in
the streets, for child care, for social welfare, for rape crisis

centers, women's refuges, reforms in the law. If someone says,

'Oh, I'm not a feminist', I ask, 'Why? What's your problem?
