Webmail Service Setup User Guide
Introduction
Al Akhawayn University deploys its proper email system and provides to all its members -students,
faculty and staff- an @aui.ma email address with a mailbox of 4 GB storage space.
This manual briefly guides a first time user on the necessary steps to open their AUI mailbox from
web, change their passwords, and be able to check their inbox and send emails.
Make sure your computer is connected to the Internet and you have received your AUI
email accounts access credentials.
AUI email service is best usable from Mozilla Firefox browser.
2- Type the username and password that were communicated to you by the Service Administrator in
their respective fields and click on Submit

3- A successful login will display a window as below. You can choose amongst three options before
getting access to your mailbox by clicking on the Go button. The three available options differ in
terms of the Internet speed they require. Lighter versions load lighter content but are lesser friendly.
We recommend opting for the Full iNotes Features which is the default value.
After making your choice, click on Go
4- Click on the Mail icon as indicated below to have access to your mailbox. Received emails are
displayed at the center of the page. Other folders can be opened from the panel at the right of the
screen.
5- Before getting in further, you shall change your password. To perform that, click on the
Preferences button at the top of the screen; as indicated in the figure below
7- Type in your old password and create the new one by filling out the corresponding fields, then
click on OK on the small window
Click OK on the preferences main window; at the bottom of the initial page. This will save your
preferences and close their section.
The password should be changed to the one you created. Logout and re-login to verify
