DICE VIC Presentation

The DICE Foundation is a non-profit organization that aims to promote innovation through its Virtual Innovation Competition (VIC). VIC provides a platform to submit and market ideas to industry and government. It also allows students to work on industry research topics and helps academia, industry, and government collaborate towards an innovative future. To participate, individuals simply register their ideas on the DICE portal.

Virtual Innovation Competition

WHAT IS DICE?

DICE Foundation is a non-profit organization registered in Michigan, USA.

Primary Goals:

1. Providing a shared platform for both the academia and the industry to pursue
innovate ideas and products.
2. Bringing Digital Revolution to a country by inculcating a culture of state-ofthe-art digital technologies in both the academia and the industry leading to
the rapid production of innovative ideas and products.
3. Promoting an image of a country as a highly innovative and tech savvy
nation to the world.

WHAT IS VIC?
VIC stands for Virtual Innovation Competition.
A centralized location where ideas can be submitted and then marketed to the
industry and the government, on the basic of their needs, merits and requirements.
A platform where ideas can be transformed into real products and services.
An opportunity for the student body to work on industrial research topics submitted
by the industry.
VIC, in short, enables the academia, the industry and the government to work in
collaboration with one another towards an innovative and technologically sound
future.

BENEFITS OF VIC

VIC can be utilized by the student body as a means to forge potential

industrial linkages.

VIC also provides opportunity for the financing and commercialization of

ideas by the industry.

VIC is an excellent platform for the academia to inform itself regarding the
rapidly developing technological culture in a country.

VIC also grants an access for the academia to seek counsel regarding their
ideas and their development .
