Centre For Railway Information Systems

The document outlines a plan to identify and protect critical information infrastructure (CII) serving Indian Railways' IT applications and services. A committee has been formed to define the CII and develop protection and crisis management guidelines. Project groups have provided data on disaster recovery sites, but the CII data required is more comprehensive. A format and checklist are enclosed for groups to provide detailed CII information by scheduled meetings. Protection of the CII will form the basis for developing full crisis management plans.
