Adverbs of Frequency
Pay attention to the word order in these two groups of sentences.
Thomas and Philip always begin their day at 7 oclock. They usually have their breakfast at the canteen. They often play music during the breaks. They never go home on weekdays. They sometimes play football. Pattern:
subject + adverb + verb
Thomas and Philip are always busy at school.
They are never late for their activities. They are usually ready for breakfast at 7 oclock. They are often in the music room during the breaks. They are sometimes tired at the end of the day. Pattern:
subject + to be + adverb
