Basic Insulation Level Table

This document provides a table comparing the Basic Insulation Level (BIL) standards for different nominal system voltages according to Indian and British standards. It shows that the Indian BIL levels are generally lower than the British levels for the same nominal voltages of 11KV, 33KV, 66KV, 132KV, 220KV systems. The only exception is for 132KV systems, where the Indian BIL standard is higher.
