4. Solve the following problem:


a. The current in the 75m-H inductor is 4 cos(40000t - 38) mA. Calculate the
inductive reactance, the impedance of the inductor, the phasor voltage and the
steady-state expression for v(t).

b. The voltage across the terminals of the 0.2F capacitor is 40 cos(10 5t - 50) V.
Calculate the capacitive reactance, the impedance of the capacitor, the phasor
current I and the steady-state expression for i(t).

c. A 100 resistor is connected in parallel with a 50 mH inductor. This combination
is connected in series with a 10 resistor and a 10F capacitor. Draw the circuit
and calculate the impedance of this interconnection if the angular frequency is 1
krad/s, next repeat the calculation for a frequency of 4 krad/s. Determine the
resonance frequency and impedance at resonance state.
