ELECTRONIC COMPARATOR

SYNOPSIS
The main aim to select this project is to acquire practical
knowledge in the field of automation using microcontroller.Every
component manufactured in an industry should be checked for its
dimension and they should be within

the tolerance limit. The

components which are exceeding the tolerance value should be rejected.


In our project ELECTRONIC COMPARATOR the components
are passed on a belt conveyor through the IR transmitter and receiver
sensor and the component length is displayed in a LCD.The comparator
compares the dimension of the given object with the value stored in the
EPROM in the microcontroller.
In this project a stepper motor is used to rotate the belt conveyor
mechanism and this stepper motor drive is controlled through the
microcontroller .
This system is fully controlled by the microcontroller
which receives the signal from the IR sensor and displays its length in
the LCD display.
