The document outlines an experiment to determine which roofing material color keeps the interior of a house coolest. It hypothesizes that roof color affects house temperature. The experiment uses yellow, silver, and brown cans of water placed near a heat source. A thermometer measures the temperature of each can after 30 minutes to see which absorbs and radiates the most heat. The results will help a homeowner decide which roofing material color to use.
