What Is Syntax: by Yusup Supyani, S.S

Syntax is the study of how sentences are organized and structured through the arrangement of words. It looks at how words fit together to form sentences. A sentence is considered grammatical if it follows the syntactic rules of a language, such as in the example "the boy is eating a pizza", while ungrammatical sentences violate these rules through random or incorrect word order, like "boy the is eating pizza a". The document provides definitions of syntax from various linguistic sources and gives examples of grammatical and ungrammatical sentences to illustrate syntactic structure.
