Accepted Name: Arogenate Dehydratase Reaction:: Click Here

Arogenate dehydratase is an enzyme that catalyzes the reaction of L-arogenate to form L-phenylalanine, water, and carbon dioxide. It also acts on prephenate and D-prephenyllactate. Arogenate dehydratase is also known as carboxycyclohexadienyl dehydratase or L-arogenate hydro-lyase (decarboxylating; L-phenylalanine-forming).
