DEFINITION
Grammar is the sound, structure, and meaning system of
language. All languages have grammar, and each language has
its own grammar.

According to Chitravelu et. al (2005), grammar can be defined as the


rules of a language, governing the way in which words are put
together to convey meaning in different contexts.
Dictionary.com : the study of the way the sentences of a language
are constructed; morphology and syntax.
