Digital Signal Processing (Old) April2013

This document contains a 17 question exam on digital signal processing. It is divided into two parts: Part A contains 10 short answer questions worth a total of 25 marks, and Part B contains 5 longer answer questions worth a total of 50 marks. The questions cover topics such as representing discrete time signals, determining if systems are linear/non-linear and time-variant/invariant, properties of twiddle factors, determining inverse Z-transforms, stability conditions in the Z-domain, converting analog to digital filters, and realizations of transfer functions. It also includes questions on sampling theory, impulse responses, the DFT, filter design techniques, and the characteristics of FIR and IIR filters.
