Elevator Block Diagram

The document discusses the block diagrams for an elevator system. Figure 1 shows the basic hardware components including the power unit, control unit, and elevator. Figure 2 provides more detail on the software operation, with a PIC microcontroller receiving input commands and executing output commands to control the elevator's movement between floors based on the current and next input states. The block diagrams outline the overall hardware and software design for an elevator control system.

Block Diagram discussion:

Figure 1 defines the block diagram for hardware which comprises the power unit, the
control unit and the elevator itself. The elevator will be powered by a DC source from the supply
itself. The control unit will be serve as the command prompt for each end every action the
elevator will take. The buttons will be the primary basis of all the inputs of the entire elevator
operation. The elevator will be the basis for the output and the commands which the input user
has made. elevator will be moving up and down according to the user.

Figure 2 discusses the more refined operation of the elevator. With the help of the PIC 16f84a,
input and output commands will be executed accordingly. It will observe the status of the
elevator where the initial and final state will be determine according to the input of the user.
Obviously, the first command will be executed first followed by the next input. As an output, the
motors and gears will be triggered simultaneously for the movement of the elevator.
