A Report On First Aid

First aid is the provision of initial care for illnesses or injuries using simple techniques that can be performed with minimal equipment. It aims to preserve life, prevent further harm, and promote recovery. Jean-Henri Dunant organized first aid for victims of the Battle of Solferino in 1859, leading to the formation of the Red Cross. A survey by St John Ambulance found that while many would try to help, some would do nothing and many lack confidence in their first aid abilities.
