Intro to IT
I WILL:

Obey all class rules


Follow all classroom procedures and be seated at my station when the tardy bell
rings.
Begin and complete my class work and projects at a reasonable pace as determined
by the teacher.
Keep my workstation neat and clean. Discard any scrap paper in the recycle bin and
push in my chair and/or stability ball.
Stay in my designated area and respect the opinions and property of other students
and teachers.
Never take or copy the work of another student. This violation is serious and will
not be tolerated in this lab.

I WILL NOT:

Do work from another class without permission from the teacher.


Play computer games or go on websites without prior permission.
Do anything that could harm any person or damage any equipment.
Bring magnets into the lab or disconnect any hardware from the computers.
Intentionally cause static electricity near or around any computer equipment.

MY GRADE WILL BE BASED ON:


Completion of daily work and activities.
Quizzes, tests, and projects.
Participation (individual and group)
Computer ergonomics.
All work must include name, date, and period and must be turned in to
receive credit. I do understand that if my work is not turned in to the
teacher, I will receive a zero for the missing work. In the case of an absence
a student will have 2 days to make up the assignments.

If I violate this contract, I understand that I may be subject to receiving a


discipline or academic referral. Damaging any equipment will automatically
result in a referral.
