INTRODUCTION

Education is the greatest weapon we can use to attain success. For this reason the Iloilo

state College of Information and Communication of Technology provides high standard

of education to the student that can be used in exploring the competitive and huge

application of the technology we have. By conducting the educational tour it can help us

more knowledgeable and familiarized with the latest innovation about online technology

in addition expose the student in the different uses of Information Technology devices.

Objectives of the tour:

1. Familiarized the latest uses of the Information technology equipment.

2. How the operation of prestigious and global companies same as business by using

online technology.

3. To be expose in the different uses of Information Technology and gain more

information about IT facilities.

4. To educated in terms of the Information and communication technology.

5. To visit the historical places in Cebu city and Mactan island.

6. To familiarized ourselves with the latest innovation about online technology.

Educational tour gives us ideas likewise opportunity to visit the prestigious and

competitive company at the same time business that can be an instrument for us to have a

better future. It helps us to develop our personality since social graces and etiquette are

learned by experience with association and observation in formal statement of a

transaction. Moreover important to every student since it is a part of their learning

process and they acquire more knowledge through the actual exposure to the different

technology, educational institution and historical places in the country.

Last February 10-13 2010 we first year student together some of the student in higher

years that doesn’t accomplish they’re requirement during previous years go to Cebu city

for the educational tour that was part of the requirement needed in some of the subject we

have together with the our tour coordinator Mrs.Vicenta Resol, Res Jandonero our subject

teacher, ma’am Eva,Benje Baltazar and our college Dean Mr. Antonio Cañonero. We

departed our school at 2 pm and then we took a Cokaliong shippingline boat for our

transportation going to Cebu city. Then by we reached the Cebu city pier at 8:30 it was

February 11 2010. Then we meet our tour quid Avino Guirero to help us in our entire

tour. After that we took our breakfast at Sugbahan seafood and grills then we proceed at

crown regency for our accommodation in that case we prepared our self for our first

itinerary. Which is the Cebu Institute Technology (CIT) that known as one of the center

of technology in Cebu city. After that we proceed to our next destination which is the

Innodata but before that we stop for picture taking at Cebu Heritage Monument. As we

took picture I also have a high regard for the beautiful monument. I feel amaze in the

heritage monument. Afterwards we proceed at Innodata that offers a great services to

there clients. After that we go on at NGCP or National Grid Corporation of the

Philippines then we also visit they’re submission area. Then we proceed to ZAN

restaurant for our dinner it was an eat all you can restaurant. Then we go to crown

regency to rest.

February 12, 2010 exactly 5:30 the desk operator of the hotel calls us so that we can start

preparing ourselves for the whole day itinerary. We ate our breakfast at Hanga Bai
subsequently to our first destination which is the USJR or University of San Jose

Recoletos. We go around, in addition we visit also automated library. Follow then by

Stream Global Services. Next the Jovens seafood and grill for our lunch. After that we

proceed in PAL- Philippines Airline in Mactan – CEBU international Airport. We took

large amount of time staying there because they let us travel around in the Airport

Mactan. Next in that we discontinue at Ayala shopping Mall, afterward we turn up at

Royal Concourse Buffet Restaurant for the last dinner in Cebu. Before leaving in the bus

for us to go in our respected rooms Sir Cañonero surprise us that we can go to bar to

enjoy and he also allow us to drink alcoholic drink to enjoy the rest of the night. And it

ended at 2 in the morning.

February 13 it was our last day take pleasure in that day. We also brought “pasalubong “

But before that we took our breakfast at Sugbahan seafood and grill after that we go to

Magellan cross we took pictures and listen sir Bino for the details next to that is the

Basilica Del Santo Niño. Furthermore we light candles. Afterward we move to Sugbahan

for our lunch we witness the traditional dance of the lion. Followed by Alegree guitar

factory and listed some information about that factory and mactan shrine to brought

“pasalubong” again. Lastly we go to airport to kill time going Iloilo. It’s sad to said

farewell to our tour guide but indeed it happens. Next to that we enter to arrival to pass

the time for our schedule going home to Iloilo. Inside the airplane I myself experience

another story. That I may include in my unforgettable moment. And in a certain time we

reach the airport of Iloilo city, afterward we got our baggage. After that we wait our bus

that takes us to our place. End of our long journey.

I would like to utter my heartfelt thanks to all the family and staff of the IT department
for guiding and service they’ve given for the success of this Cebu tour. To the college
dean, Sir Antonio Cañonero, our tour coordinator, Mrs. Vicenta Resol, to the teachers
who took the responsibility to put together us in good and comfortable place. Sir Res
Jandonero and Sir Benje Baltazar. To the travel and tour agency for headed us in our
entire tour. To Miss lovela Tabaosares lead us on the way to the pier. Splendid thanks to
sugbahan seafood & grill, ZAO, Jovens, Cheavers fried and grill and Hanga Bai, for the
delicious food they’ve serve us.Crown regency for the fastidious accommodation. Thank
you my parents in all the supports they’ve given me. In general, the savior of us, Jesus
Christ for guiding us in our entire tour.
 CONCLUSION

Educational tour is extremely important to the student for the reason that we can gain
knowledge, ideas and develop our personality by observing and to see the actual way of
it. This tour prepared us in a battle of learning for the higher and difficult studies. That’s
why this educational tour provides us the hint for the study of the technology we have.
Conducting this kind of study benefits a lot to the student because of the actual
presentation we can get hold of the ideas and uses of it in wide-ranging. It is also an
opportunity to visit the historical places in Cebu city and to see the magnificence place
of Cebuanos.
