MicrosoftOfficeSetupCDoryoucanfinditontheinternet.
RunSiddhamkey2.0,themaindialogboxwillappearinthecenterofthescreenandtheA
(siddham)iconwilldisplayatthesystemtray.Afterclosingthemaindialogbox,youcan
clickontheAicontoopenitagain.

Therearefourcommandbuttonsonthemaindialogbox:
1.Inputbar:Openthebarforinputtingsiddhamcharacters.
2.Converter:OpenthedialogboxforconvertingSiddhamscriptsfromtheclipboard(copied
text)toRomanizedtransliteration.
3.About:Openaboutdialogbox.
4.Help:Helpfunction.
1.INPUTBAR
TheInputBarisusedforsendingSiddhamcharactersdirectlyintoMicrosoftWord.
InputBar
ForotherapplicationsdifferfromMSWord,youshoulduseExpandbuttontoopenthe
textbox.AftersendingSiddhamcharacterstotheintermediatetextbox,youcopythemtothe
clipboardthenpasteintoyourdocument.
ForsendingcharactersintoMicrosoftWordorintermediatetextbox,youcanchooseoneof
thefollowingways:
Clickmousedirectlyonthesiddhamcharacteronthesquarebutton.
UseTabkeytomoveandchoosethesiddhamcharacter.
UseoneofthefunctionkeysforF1toF12tochoosethesiddhamcharacterabove.
Incasetherearemorethan12charactersontheinputbar,clickonthe>/<buttonORuse
PageDown/PageUpkeytogotothenext/previouspage.
Hotkeysforopeningandclosingtheinputbar:Ctrluparrow,Ctrldownarrow
2.CONVERTER
Tousethisfunction,firstcopySiddhamtextfromanydocuments(theSiddhamtextmustbe
inCBETAfontformat).ThenclickonTransliterationbutton.AllSiddhamcharacterswill
changetoRomanizedtransliteration.
