Scope of the Project

The Computer-Based Grading System offers more than just a class card
function, encoding of students personal data and issuance of summary grading
sheets which include the grades of the students. The system will lessen the work
especially of those within the registrars office because the grades will be stored
directly into a database. Users from the department would be able to access
information they will need anytime.
This grading system is exclusively designed for the faculty members, registrars
personnel and trusted staff of the School.

It is off limits to the students, meaning students are not given the privilege to find
out their grades before their actual report card is released.
The developers designed this window-based application system in a user friendly
manner. The researchers used Visual basic 6.0 for the programming language
and Microsoft Access for Database Management System. The scope of this
study is up to implementation only.

Scope

The system can view the students record.

The system can compute the students grades.

The system is password protected.

Limitation

The System cannot print the students grades.

The system cannot be viewed online.

The system has no password recocery.
