THE AGENDA/EL AGENDA

Please check the agenda on a daily basis to see


how your child has been behaving, for homework
assignments, and other announcements.
Favor de revisar su agenda diariamente para
comunicar sobre el comportamiento, tareas, y

CLASSWORK/ TRABAJO DEL SALON

Classwork MUST be finished in class. Extra time


will be provided when possible. If an assignment
becomes late, the maximum grade will be a 70%.

El trabajo del saln se debe de terminar en el


saln. Cuando sea necesario, se le dara tiempo
extra para completarlo por una calificacin
mxima de 70%.

HOMEWORK/ TAREA
Homework will be given every Monday. It needs to be
turned in by Friday.
Students are responsible from writing their homework
assignments in their agenda.
-Please check thier homework for completion, and that it
is placed back in their folder.

La tarea ser enviada cada lunes y se entrega cada


viernes.

ACCELERATED READING/
PROGRAMA DE LECTURA AR

Students will participate in the accelerated reading program.


/ Los estudiantes participaran en el programa este ao
escolar en los dos idiomas.

Students will earn points by taking AR tests. Each test


generally ranges between .5 to 1 points per test./ Recibiran
entre .5 a 1 punto por cada examen de AR que terminen.
Each student will need to earn 4 points in English and 4
points in spanish per 9 weeks./ La meta es que los
estudiantes completen un minimo de 4 puntos en cada
idioma; cada 9 semanas.
You can help your child by helping him/her choose a book of
their liking and level./ Usted puede ayudar a su hijo(a)
seleccionar libros de su nivel para poder recibir puntos de
AR.

GOALS/METAS
Read 60 words per minute as of now/Leer 60
palabras en este momento.
Read 75 words a minute by January/Leer 75

VOLUNTEERS/ VOLUNTARIOS
Please fill in the VIPS Application and turn into
the office. Forms will not be available until
September. I will let you know when help is
needed.

entregarla en la oficina. Las aplicaciones seran
desponibles en Septiembre. Les avisare cuando
necesitaremos su ayuda.
